Cancellation of the activity of the ICO Population Cancer Screening Programs.

Given the current situation of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection in Catalonia and the recommendation of the Department of Health and CatSalut to reduce the risk of infection by reducing the care that can be postponed, it has been decided to stop the activity of the Population Cancer Screening Programs.

Breast Cancer Screening
If you have received an appointment for your biannual screening mammogram for breast cancer prevention, please do not go for it.
As soon as the current situation ends, we will resend you a new appointment. You do not need to cancel your current appointment.

Colorectal Cancer Screening
If you have received an invitation from the colorectal cancer screening program and you intended to go to the pharmacy to pick up the test, do not go. The program will notify you when the situation returns to normal and the program resumes.
