Continuing Education of the Colorectal Cancer Screening Program
The course “Training for the accreditation of the professionals of the Endoscopic Units of the Colorectal Cancer Population Screening Program” has started.
The first session of the course, organized by the technical office of screening of the Catalan Institute of Oncology, which covers the entire territory of the metropolitan area of Barcelona, was held on September 29, 2021.
The main objective of these sessions is to be an effective tool so that case managers and endoscopists who carry out screening colonoscopies can have a meeting point to debate, discuss and agree on key aspects of the screening process and to follow up on quality standards.
The course consists of 4 sessions that will be held telematically (Teams platform) on September 29 and November 9, 2021 and January 20 and March 29, 2022 from 15 to 16h, and has been approved as an accredited activity by the Catalan Council of Continuing Education of Health Professions – Commission of Continuing Education of the National Health System (registered under number 09/030049-MD).
