ICO’s colorectal cancer screening program resumes its activity

After the stoppage generated by Covidien-19 in March, the colorectal cancer screening program resumes its activity.

The program, with its 20-year history, has detected more than 13,800 precancerous lesions and more than 1,000 cancers, most of them in early stages. Therefore, having demonstrated its effectiveness and convinced of the importance of prevention, the program has resumed its activity, applying the pertinent actions to maintain safety in the face of possible infection by coronavirus.
