Carmen Vidal She is a specialist in Preventive Medicine and Public Health and a Master’s degree in Public Health. She has devoted much of his professional life to early detection of cancer. She has extensive experience in the design, coordination and management of population cancer screening programs. She is an advisor to the Director Plan of Oncology and the Government of Andorra in breast cancer screening and cancer prevention respectively.
Her areas of interest are:
- Individual cancer risk identification linked to screening customization.
- Adequacy of new technologies for the management of population programs
- Adequacy and feasibility studies of new cancer detection strategies
- Evaluation of early cancer screening programs.
She has participated in various research projects related to the early detection of breast cancer, colorectal cancer and more recently to lung cancer
