The ICO Advisory Committee has been created

The ICO Advisory Committee has been created with the aim of providing the General Directorate with permanent advice of proven solvency and sufficient specialization in the care of oncology patients and all users served by ICO in its different areas (prevention, care, research, and teaching).

The Committee is made up of 20 professionals from different areas and services of the ICO to guarantee a transversal and integrating vision. The representative of the Directorate of Epidemiology, Prevention and Cancer Control is Dr. Gemma Binefa, coordinator of the colorectal cancer screening program.

The first meeting was held on January 21 and a minimum of 3 meetings/year is expected.
