Montse Fernández
Montse holds a degree in Nursing from the University of Barcelona (1995) and a Master's degree in Nursing and Palliative Care Services Management (UB). She also has a postgraduate degree in Oncology Nursing.
Montse is is a nurse at the Catalan Institute of Oncology. She has been part of the hospital’s palliative care team and the cancer screening unit. She currently works as a nurse in the Tobacco Control Unit’s Smoking Consultation. As a nurse, she is responsible for the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of the smoking cessation process of patients who come to the clinic.
