Clara holds a degree in Journalism from the Abat Oliba University of Barcelona and is the communications officer for the Tobacco Control Unit (UCT). She has previously worked in several media outlets as a journalist and also in corporate communications departments.
Her work consists in bringing greater visibility to UCT’s activities and communicating the right messages about the reality of smoking to society. She is also in charge of managing the internal and external communication of the ‘PIECES Project’, an initiative funded by the European Union that aims to develop, evaluate and disseminate a tool to facilitate the implementation of cancer prevention programmes.
