Sarah is a second-year pre-doctoral under the supervision of Professor Esteve Fernández and Dra. Marcela Fu. She is currently working on the Eurest-plus ITC 6E, an European Union´s research project that aims to monitor and evaluate the impact of the Tobacco Products Directive and the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control. Her interests include a wide range of topics related to addiction, health psychology and tobacco control policy development and evaluation.

EUREST-PLUS

Prior to starting her PhD, Sarah worked as a project manager in the Drugs Reference Centre in Federal University of Ceará/Brazil, developing formative courses for health professionals of the state health network.

Sarah holds a BA in Psychology at the Federal University of Ceará, a postgraduation in behavioural clinical psychotherapy and an MSc in Addiction Studies at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN) – King´s College London.
